Natural hazards as constituent part of the environment:
- Theoretical frameworks of risk and hazard;
- Types of natural hazards, processes, destructive effects of natural hazards in Slovenia and in the world (earthquakes, landslides, floods, severe weather, biological and antropogene hazards) and the ways of accomodation and protection;
- Man as transformer of the environment and his role in the occurrence of natural hazards;
- Sociological and psychological aspects of natural hazards and protection;
- Socio-geographical factors of the society's ability to respond to natural hazards;
- Organization and functioning of the society in case of natural and other hazards;
- Risk assessment methodologies, application of risk and threat in decision-making and development planning.
