The course will provide a basis for understanding society and the most important social structures, and knowledge of the classical concepts and the contemporary trends in the fields of social inequalities and social stratification, regimes of welfare, labour (paid and unpaid) and employment, social control, and all the institutional and ideological frameworks that regulate and direct these phenomena.
