The presentation of a special combination of philosophy and artistic production that characterizes the German Early Romanticism and was given its basic traits in the works of the Schlegels, Novalis , Schelling, Hölderlin, and others.
Historical and conceptual presuppositions of philosophy of Romanticism: German Protestantism; Pietism (Spener, Franke, Zinzendorf); Sturm und Drang (Hamann, Herder, Jacobi); Kant’s philosophy and Quarrel of Spinozism.
Main characteristics of romantic Dichtung as a philosophical project: the man as a whole being; the fundamental identity of being in its manifestations; the notion of Entzweiung and its overcoming; the affirmation of individuality.
