The topic and history of social psychology: defining the discipline; relationship with related fields of study; paradigms and theoretical aproaches to social psychology; historical overview; the specificities of methodological approaches in social psychology.
Social motivation: operationalisation and kinds of social motivation; the importance of social motivation as the basis of social influence and other sociopsychological processes; social motivation and related constructs (interests, expectations, needs, desires).
Overview of research areas: social reality; social cognition; group dynamics; intergroup dynamics; societal psychology; applications of social psychology.
