• Theoretical starting points, methodological procedures od data collection and interpretation of results,
• Descriptive linguistics and applied linguistics (functionalism and formalism in linguistics; sociolinguistics, pragmatic linguistics, corpus linguistics, language acquisition, bilingualism ...),
• Research procedures: defining the problem and research objectives, literature review, data collection, processing and analysis, interpretation of results, forming the conclusions
• Practical part: selecting a topic and preparing the research proposal, selection of relevant literature, collection of materials, conception of the research, presentation of the research proposal.
