A student independently collects and analyses the material for the diploma work, she or he studies the related literature, with the help of which she or he interprets the material; she or he coordinates her or his work regarding the writing and presentation of the diploma work with the mentor.
Diploma work must be written in accordance with the faculty technical recommendations for the preparation of the diploma work. It must be of a minimum of two and a maximum of three author's sheets of text (from 60.000 to 90.000 characters with spaces), and it must be equipped with all the necessary scientific apparatus and appendices. Diploma work and all the material obtained during the research (illustrations, sound recordings, other ethnographic material ...) must be submitted to the departmental documentation with the help of the ISEKA application.
Each year separately those who lead the pre-diploma seminar prepare the list of literature - individually for each student and according to his or her chosen topic of the diploma work.
