Developing communication skills: listening and reading comprehension (longer authentic texts), writing (analysing the parts of writing), oral expression (dialogues in pairs, discussion); acquiring more complex communicative forms; acquiring more complex grammatical structures; preparing the students for syntactical analysis of spoken and written texts; developing and consolidation of orthographic competence; consolidation of linguistic competence, development of lexical competence; use of language manuals and ICT; acquiring intercultural features. Topics: student life, housing and living, employment, healthy living, tourist attractions, etc.
