• Teoretična in metodološka izhodišča za študij razmerja med glasbo in prostorom
• Etnomuzikološka, etnografska in interdisciplinarna obravnava glasbe in prostora skozi vidike glasbenih prizorišč in geografij ter družbenih in imaginarnih glasbenih prostorov.
• Preučevanje razmerja med glasbo, družbo in prostorom, predvsem v navezavi na antropološki koncept materialne in simbolne produkcije in konstrukcije prostora (Setha Low).
• Obravnava konceptov zvočnih krajin (soundscapes), glasbe in arhitekture, ulične glasbe, lokalnih, medlokalnih in nacionalnih glasbenih prostorov, glasbe in pogospodenja mest ter rasne, etnične, spolne, seksualne, razredne in starostne pogojenosti glasbenih in družbenih prostorov v evropskih in zunajevropskih kulturah.
