The course is divided into two units:
a) Italian Grammar 3
b) Italian language practice 2

a) Italian Grammar 3:
Students will gain familiarity with the adjective and the pronoun. The course will focus on the morphology of the adjective, its role in the nominal phrase and the peculiarities of its use with the article. Another topic are the types and morphology of Italian pronouns and their interaction with other elements of the clause.
Special emphasis will be given to the relationship between the structure, meaning and function. Students will be encouraged to compare grammatical elements of English and Slovene and to consider the different ways of expressing certain elements of Italian grammar.

b) Italian Language Practice:
Speaking: pairwork, group discussion. Reading: working with original texts, comprehension exercises. Listening: working with audio texts, comprehension exercise. Writing: exploring the process of writing. The focus is on general and specialised vocabulary building, collocations, idioms etc., identification of Slovene translation equivalents and a contrastive approach.
