German-Slovene Contrastive Grammar 2:
Seminar work helps students upgrade their grammatical competences on the basis of the knowledge from the lectures on the contrastive grammar between German and Slovene. Students gain familiarity with the translation-relevant contrastive analysis methods and topics, eg.: congruence between subject and predicator, non-finite verb forms, special groups of verbs (transitive – intransitive, reflexive verbs …), final vs. non-final form of the adjective in Slovene, comparison of the adjectives, usage of pronouns, modality, passive voice, categories and use of nominalization in German and Slovene, aspectuality in Slovene and German, (in)animate subject, negation and other contrastive-relevant topics.
