Asst. Prof. Dr. Rebeka Vidrih

Born in Šempeter pri Gorici in 1976. Attended Secondary School of Design and Photography in Ljubljana. Studied art history at Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. Graduated in 2004, obtained a PhD in 2008. Research focused on theory and history of art history, lectures also on art and architecture from the Renaissance to the present day. Employed at the Department of Art History (Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana) since 2008, assistant professor since 2013, Head of the Department from 2016 to 2018. Chair of the National Exam Committee for the General Matura for art history since 2020. Vice-Chair of the Expert Council of the Museum of Modern Art in Ljubljana since 2022. Co-editor of the Ars & Humanitas journal since 2025.
