Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tamara Mikolič Južnič

Tamara Mikolič Južnič is an Associate Professor of Translation Studies and the head of the Department of Translation Studies. She is also a member of the Senate of the Faculty of Arts, serves the Erasmus+ Internship Department Coordinator and represents the department in the CIUTI association.

In her pedagogical activities, she is involved at all three levels of the study programs, delivering lectures and seminars on Italian language, translation of specialized and political texts, textual competences, and methods in Translation Studies research. Her research focuses on translation studies, community interpreting, contrastive grammar, and corpus linguistics.
